COVID Guidelines as of March 1, 2021
In accordance with State and local guidance as well as guidance from Little League International, the following guidelines will be implemented immediately for 4SRLL, until further notice:
- All managers, coaches and on-field volunteers will wear masks while on the field during practices and games
- All players will wear masks while in the dugout during games (not applicable during practices)
- Players may, but will not be required to, wear masks while on the field during practices and games
- Parents or guardians will not allow their child to practice or play in a game if their temperature is above 100 degrees or if they have COVID-19 symptoms based on CDC guidelines. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html
- We strongly encourage all players to wear face coverings when arriving at and leaving the field and all spectators to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
- There will be no sharing of equipment. Players must bring their own bat, glove, helmet, batting gloves, or any other equipment. The sole exception to this rule is catcher’s masks, which, if shared, must be thoroughly disinfected by a coach between uses.
We have also received additional guidance from Little League International regarding Covid. Every child must have a parent or guardian complete the attached Covid-19 waiver in order to play Little League baseball this year. We will collect these waivers at tryouts for Majors, AAA and AA and prior to the first practice for LS, Tball, A, Intermediates and Juniors.
